Storm Kristin: A real test of the strength of our Boxes

Following the passage of Depression Kristin, which severely affected the Leiria region, the facilities of PSAplast suffered significant damage, particularly to the warehouses and production areas.
During this period, the company faced considerable operational constraints, mainly due to the interruption of the electricity supply and limited communications. Overall, our facilities were without power for one month, which temporarily affected our production capacity and the fulfillment of orders requiring new manufacturing.
Despite these difficulties, every effort was made to ensure the dispatch of orders whenever products were available in stock.
Meanwhile, the electricity supply has been restored and production has resumed, with the company now working towards the full normalization of its operations.
This episode also highlighted the resilience and reliability of our products. After the collapse of one of the warehouse structures, several plastic boxes stored inside remained intact, even after the impact. More than a test in a controlled environment, this was a real-life situation that demonstrates the robustness of the solutions we develop for storage and industrial logistics.

PSAplat thanks, its clients, partners, and employees for their understanding, support, and solidarity during this particularly challenging period.
