Colours for improved organisation and product identification

Home » Available colours

Colours are a simple and effective tool for improving process organisation and enabling faster visual identification of products. In industrial and logistics environments, the use of different colours helps create more efficient identification systems, reduce errors, improve operational efficiency, strengthen brand identity and meet the specific requirements of different industries.

At PSAplast, we may manufacture plastic boxes, containers and packaging solutions in a wide range of colours. We offer a standard colour palette and, for specific projects, we can develop customised colours/shades subject to technical assessment and depending on the quantities required.

Important information

The RAL and Pantone references provided are for guidance only and represent the closest reference shades to the colours available at PSAplast.

The final colour may vary slightly depending on several factors, including:

• Type of polymer used.
• Surface texture and finish of the product.
• Manufacturing process.
• Lighting conditions.

Please note that the colour displayed on a screen may differ slightly from the actual product colour due to monitor, mobile phone or other device settings.

Custom colours

For specific projects, we can manufacture products in colours outside our standard palette.

The feasibility of producing a customised colour depends on several factors, including:

• Required quantity.
• Type of product.
• Material used (PP, PE or other polymers).
• Availability of suitable pigments and raw materials.

If you require a specific colour, whether based on a RAL reference, Pantone reference or a physical sample, please contact our team. We will assess the most suitable solution for your project.

Products manufactured with recycled raw materials

When customers choose recycled raw materials, we often recommend production in black.
This option provides greater availability of recycled raw materials, contributes to improved colour consistency between production batches and ensures a more reliable supply for regular production.
Although it is technically possible to manufacture products in other colours using recycled material, these solutions depend on the availability of suitable recycled raw materials and may involve higher costs. In addition, due to the nature of recycled materials, slight colour variations may occur between different production batches.

It is also important to note that the mechanical properties of products manufactured from recycled raw materials may differ from those obtained with virgin raw materials. Depending on the origin and characteristics of the recycled material used, there may be lower impact resistance and reduced performance in particularly demanding applications.

If your project requires both recycled material and a specific colour, our team can assess the feasibility of the most suitable solution.

Benefits of colour identification

The use of different colours improves organisation, identification and operational efficiency across a wide range of industrial and logistics applications.

Colours can be used to:

• Quickly identify products, components or raw materials.
• Separate production lines or working areas.
• Differentiate between customers, suppliers or shipping destinations.
• Support batch management and traceability.
• Implement colour coding systems in food processing or industrial environments.
• Improve visual organisation in warehouses and logistics centres.
• Reduce picking and dispatch errors.
• Make processes faster and more intuitive for operators.
• Support the implementation of Lean and 5S management systems.
